Join us in a few minutes pause by listening and connecting with the sounds of nature. Here, you will find guided meditations for gratitude, recharging, and others for connecting with nature, based on indigenous ancestral knowledge. If you just want to relax, the Yoga Nidra practice with the sounds of La Conejera Wetland will revitalize you in 20 minutes.

GRATITUDE TO THE FORESTS

Tropical forests are the lungs of planet Earth. In this meditation we invite you to stop and connect with gratitude for this ecosystem, so important for life on our planet.

I HEAL FOR YOU, I HEAL FOR ME

With a song by Emilio Fiagama –chief and governor of the Jurama council of the Murui Muinane people– and with the sounds of the tropical forest, indulge in this meditation to bring light and healing to any pending situation.

I AM WATER FROM THE RIVER AND THE MOUNTAIN

This meditation is based on the Coreguaje* people’s cosmovision made to connect us with the water. Our body is 70% water, our planet is 70% water and in Coreguaje’s thinking, we are the water of the mountains; there is no separation. This is a meditation for connecting with your will and find inspiration to take action for caring and protecting nature.

Meditation with the Whales of the Colombian Pacific

A 20min. deep relaxation on a physical, mental, and emotional level where the mind is conscious and the body is completely relaxed. During the practice, a positive affirmation is repeated, acting like a seed sown in the subconscious. This affirmation should be a short, positive phrase about something you want to attract to life.
e.g .: I have health, I have confidence in myself.

Our Village

On the occasion of the closing of the ColomBIOdiversidad 2020 Festival, VozTerra created this meditation to connect you with the sea and become aware of the importance of its conservation. Travel to the sea with the sounds of humpback whales from the Colombian Pacific and let their sounds pamper your soul. In the month of June VozTerra created, for the Our Village Festival, a sound piece that combines sounds from natural ecosystems of Indonesia, Brazil, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Colombia. Based on it, a guided meditation was directed by the Yoga artist and instructor, Andrew Sealy. The meditation lasts 8:46 in memory of George Floyd, an African American who died on May 25 due to a brutal US police submission.

The Our Village festival is an initiative that seeks to raise awareness around the role and struggle of indigenous and local communities in the midst of the Covid-19 crisis.
